2004-09-13

Following last year’s successful workshop, PERC is sponsoring a pair of Facilitation and Communication Skills for Trainers and Instructors Workshops. The two-day workshops, scheduled for September 29–30 in Chicago as well as October 21–22 in Atlanta, help participants become more confident and effective trainers by focusing on physical and vocal skills, preparation, training logistics, and visual aids. Click here for additional workshop details or to register. Sessions begin both days at 8:30 a.m. For more information, contact PERC’s Courtney Gendron at (202) 452-8975 or courtney.gendron@propanecouncil.org.

Propane Facts

Propane has a narrow range of flammability when compared with other petroleum products. In order to ignite, the propane/air mix must contain from 2.2 to 9.6 percent propane vapor. If the mixture contains less than 2.2 percent gas, it is too lean to burn. If it contains more than 9.6 percent, it is too rich to burn.
